A Tribute to the World’s Best Friend

My friend Marilyn: Loyal … loving … genuine … … Kind … Caring … Giving … Trustworthy … Passionate … Devoted … Dependable … Positive … Energetic … Hardworking … Detailed … Organized … knowledgeable … Smart … Creative … Talented … … Big Heart of Gold … Adorable & Beautiful to boot … That’s my friend, Marilyn. A woman of many talents, she excelled at everything she did. Marilyn was very gifted when it came to design; she was a natural designer and helped many people beautify their spaces. She also worked her magic at the Pembroke Comfort Inn … you see and feel her magic as soon as you enter the hotel lobby. Marilyn was tops in customer service in any industry. She didn’t simply have customers … she had “guests” and “friends”, and everyone benefited from her magic. She added value to the lives of each and every one of the people she met. Marilyn has touched so many lives. Every project she worked on was better because of her special touch, her deep caring, and her passion for excellence. Marilyn’s famous words in all situations were: “What can I do to help?” Marilyn only spoke kind words of everyone. She put us all on a pedestal and sang our praises to everyone. She made us all feel like we were Stars My dear friend, Marilyn, left us much too soon, but she left us all better for having known her. She most definitely left this world a better place to live for each and every one of us. Marilyn was my special Angel and I am sure she went straight to Heaven to join her Mom & Dad. She lost her Mom less than a year ago, and still had a broken heart. I’m sure that once she has hugged and visited with her Mom, she’ll get busy again, asking questions like How? and Why? of the other Angels, and trying to reorganize Heaven … You know Marilyn :) I love you, Marilyn, and I will surely miss you the rest of my life. It was a great honor and privilege to have known you. We should have had more time ….
