My Uncle, My Rock, My Friend....

Throughout the years there has always been a constant in my life. That person that I could turn to when the storms of my life were crashing around me, when I needed someone to celebrate my victories, and when I just needed a shoulder to rest my head. For me that person was Donald Vaillancourt, my Uncle, my Rock, my Friend... Uncle Donald never judged me, but rather directed me with his wisdom and his wit. He was always quick to smile, never embarrassed to shed a tear or a much needed hug. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, and caring, and compassion. There is a "Donald" sized hole both in the world and in my heart today. Uncle Donald I love you and I will miss you, but I am forever greatful that you were in my life -- you will forever be my Uncle, my Rock, my Friend -- that Lighthouse in the Storm...
