"The Chip Man"

Dear Sad family: Our deepest sympathy in the loss of "the chip man." You will not know me, but our family knew Steve (and he knew generations of our family) very well. My grandparents, Jim and Addie Purvis, used to take their kids for fries (the best fries ever) and all the generations of our family have done the same. That's 5 generations. Steve had a great heart and love for everyone, not to mention the best fies in town. He will be missed, he will be loved and he definitely will be remembered as Pembroke's #1 "chip man."
