A Grey Sister of the Immaculate Conception, Pembroke, died in Shalom Residence on the 4th day of October, 2008 in the 65th year of her Religious Life. Left to mourn are the members of her Religious Community, her sister, Sister Muriel Nadeau g.s.i.c., brother, Gerard, devoted brother-in-law, Ed Viau (wife - Therese), Sudbury, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Moses Patrick and Margaret Josephine (Giroux), brothers, Paul, Leo and Vincent, sisters, Aurore, Gladys Wormer, Rita Viau, and Yvonne. Sister Armadine, was born on June 13th 1916, in Wylie. She entered the Community on September 14th, 1944, pronouncing final vows on July 28th, 1949. Her primary ministry involved Dietary Supervision, serving at the Motherhouse, Immaculata High School, Ottawa, Port Credit and Timmins Convents, and in Nassau, Bahamas, where she also served the elderly as Community Worker. She retired to the Motherhouse in 1986. Her final years were lived at Shalom Residence, Pembroke. Resting at the Marguerite Centre, 700 Mackay Street, on Monday, October 6th, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Evening Prayer at 7:00 p.m. Liturgy of the Resurrection in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke. Arrangements by the Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.
