TURCOTTE, Stephen Alfred - Passed away peacefully in Pembroke Regional Hospital, with his loving wife by his side, on Thursday, June 8th, 2017 in his 77th year. Stephen Alfred Turcotte of Petawawa, beloved husband of 50 years to Mable Turcotte (nee Foster). Loving father of Mark (Laura) of Petawawa and Stacy (Christopher) Fleury of Morinville, AB, and proud poppa of Jenna and Sarah Turcotte, Sean and Ethan Fleury. Dear brother of Dale (Steina) Turcotte, Terry (Alice) Turcotte, Delerance Turcotte, Dusty (Barbara) Turcotte, Jeran (Jan) Van Der Henne and Aron (Margo) Turcotte. Dear step-brother of Harry (Lori) Turcotte, Dennis (the late Lynn) Turcotte and Albert Turcotte. Predeceased by parents Reginald and Violet Turcotte (nee Gorr), by sister Faith, by brothers Arlen and Kris, and by step-brother Michael. Steve loved hunting and fishing. He worked as a pressman at the Pembroke Observer for 50 years, most of those years as Press Foreman. In his spare time he cut firewood, which he continued throughout his retirement, as well as planting and caring for his large vegetable garden. Respecting Steve’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John's Lutheran Church, Petawawa or Wheels of Hope would be appreciated. Arrangements by the
