NEVILLE, Maureen (Nee Meagher) 1939 - 2016 It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our dear Maureen on the morning of November 3, 2016, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Montreal, following a short but courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife and best friend for 52 years of Edwin Gerald Neville. Beloved sister of Patricia (late Kenneth), Frank (Joanne) and Brian (Kathy). Cherished sister-in-law of the late Michael Neville (Gloria), the late Gerald Neville (Carolyn) and Elizabeth Baird (Bill). Adored Aunt to 17 nieces and nephews, "Auntie Mo" will always be remembered for her devotion to family, gentle smile, kindness and generosity towards others, her signature "Hello dear" and her colourful language when watching a Canadiens hockey game. Former Brownie leader, Royal Canadian Legion member, cribbage player, 300 score "perfect game" bowler and donor of more than 300 hand knitted sweaters and caps to St-Mary's Hospital. The "Queen of Brome Lake" loved the cottage where she would spend laughter filled summer days with family and friends for over 40 years. A Cemetery Service will be held at St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at 1 p.m. Donations to the MS Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
