REMUS, Murray Douglas - Major (Retired) - Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 in his 69th year. Murray Remus of Petawawa, beloved husband of Lianne Remus (nee Patrick). Loving father of Glen Card (Danielle) of Petawawa and Elizabeth Levesque (Marcel) of Pembroke. Caring grandpa of Jason, Kayla and Sean. Murray was a Life Member of Branch 517, Royal Canadian Legion, Petawawa and Associate Member of 42nd Field Regiment (RCA) Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. George’s Chapel, Garrison Petawawa on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment All Saint's Anglican Cemetery, Petawawa. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Maurice J. Grimes Lodge or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
