Obituary for Garry Kenneth Waito

WAITO, Garry Kenneth - It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Garry Kenneth Waito on Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer in his 70th year. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Barbara Waito (nee Baker). He will be missed by his children Audrey, (Michael Prince) Robert, Peter (Pam) and Christopher (Lisa), his pride and joy, his grandchildren; Jessica, Joey, Nicholas, Alysha, Brianna, Zach, Shanyn, Hannah, Bryce, Celina and Jenna, 2 great grandchildren Jackson and Caleb, sister Monica Desjardins and brother Glen (Gayle) Waito. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Jennie Waito (nee Laronde). His wit and kindness will be missed by his many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Respecting Garry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pembroke Legion on Sunday, March 19th at 3:00 PM, with a special drumming ceremony to begin at 4:00 PM.
