The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rita Mary Eckersley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear George-Anne, Ed, Tony and family,
So sorry to hear about "Mrs. Kutschke's" passing. I first met her in Art class at Bishop Smith Senior Elementary. She was so kind even though my artwork was not great! As an adult, I always enjoyed when she would supply at Cathedral. Rita had a firm but compassionate relationship with her students and they respected her for it. Sending prayers and hugs, Lynn Denault

Condolence: George-Ann & Ed, Paula & Maurice, & Families,
We were very sad to hear of the passing of your wonderful Mother. "Mrs. Kutschke" taught both Paul and I Art at BSSE and we both enjoyed her class very much. She was a wonderful, kind and caring person and it was a pleasure to be in her classroom. May your memories of your Mother sustain you in the difficult days ahead.

Condolence: Dear George-Ann and family, I am so sorry to hear that you have been going through such a sad time. There is no words to express the loss of a mother. Only an individual knows. I will keep you all in my prayers as you take the time to heal from the vacant feeling that embodies your heart and soul. May you always remember when sadness occurs that she is now at peace. Patricia Costey-Henry
