WALKER, Mary Aletha Susan - Peacefully with her family by her side at the Deep River and District Hospital on Thursday, February 25th, 2016 in her 91st year. Aletha Walker (nee Primeau) of Deep River, beloved wife of the late Leo Walker. Adored mother of Brian (Lorna), Garry (Gale), Debbie (Doug) Sampson, Lloyd (Laura), Kevin (Lynne), Glenn (Tracy), Melanie (Mike) Theil, and Sean (Beth). Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Loving sister of Rayda Mailhiot. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Victorine Primeau, by sister Lyla, and by brothers Cecil, Austin, Justin, Danny, Lyle, and Gerald. Visitation at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Deep River on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 at 11 a.m. Spring Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Deep River. Heartfelt thanks to Mom's very caring doctor - Dr. Terry McVey and his wife Lauren. Sincere thank you to the thoughtful and caring doctors, nursing staff, and paramedics of the Deep River and District Hospital and the wonderful staff and volunteers of the North Renfrew Long Term Care. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Memorial Fund or the Deep River and District Hospital.
