Life Story for Beatrice Evangeline Edmonds (Robinson)

EDMONDS (nee Robinson), Beatrice Evangeline - Peacefully, on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at the age of 85, at the St. Francis Memorial Hospital, in Barry’s Bay, after a lengthy illness. Beloved wife of the late Sidney John Edmonds and daughter of the late Jack Robinson and the late Gertrude Quinn, Bea was predeceased by sisters Mary Doxsee, Veronica Nichols (Jack), Alma Conway (Raymond) and brother George Robinson. Bea will be remembered with love by her son Ronald (Roberta), of Pembroke, Colleen Marquardt (Wayne), of Palmer Rapids, and Gordon (Pauline), of Pembroke, and by her brother-in-law Don Doxsee, of Ottawa. Bea had a special place in her heart for each of her grandchildren, Grant Edmonds (Kate Scowan), of Toronto, Suzanne Milne (Nathan), of Warkworth, Leah Bozak (David) of Schutt, Bradley Marquardt (Tracie), of Palmer Rapids, and Stephanie and Laura Edmonds, of Pembroke, as well as her great grandchildren. Her great grandchildren are Symon Edmonds, Tia Moulton, Gracie Rae and Bazil Milne, of Warkwork, Sydney, Hatley and Quinn Edmonds, of Toronto, Maverick Bozak, of Schutt, and Jacob and Madison Marquardt, of Palmer Rapids. Born at Fitzroy Harbour, Bea attended school in Ottawa and raised her family in Pembroke, where she worked with the Renfrew County Board of Education. Bea was a volunteer with the Pembroke General Hospital Auxiliary and a Founding Member of the Golden Leaves Friendship Senior’s Club. Bea’s family wishes to thank the staff of the Continuing Care Unit of St. Francis Memorial Hospital for their outstanding care of her. Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke on Wednesday, November 29th, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. In memoriam donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Continuing Care Unit of St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Online Condolences may be left at www.nevillefuneralhome.ca
